                Sorry for the long absence. I lost my zeal for awhile. Even thought about deleting my blog. Luckily, I had a burst of inspiration this morning and thought it best to keep it open for moments when I feel the need to air interesting views or perspectives. Will try to post things regularly and keep your minds entertained. I hope to keep your minds challenged and thinking about things from a broader perspective.

Was reading an article by a CNN columnist Douglas Rushkoof- why I quit facebook. He had some interesting points. But that isn’t the purpose of my article. It got me thinking about the do’s and don’ts of facebook.      So, what is considered proper behaviour on facebook? Well, after a little digging around, I discovered there is a wealth of knowledge on the very subject. So, here is most of what I can find, plus a few of mine. Let’s start with the NO-NO’s- DONTS 1.         Avoid adding strangers. Unless I missed the memo by facebook saying there were prizes for the most number of friends. Facebook post by Femi Fani-Kayode about Pistorius

  Background story - Oskar Pistorius , South African sprinter was charged to court for the murder of his model girlfriend - Reeva Steenkamp. Initial claims of mistaken identity were heard in the media. The police have since debunked the rumors. Reporting that the couple had a rocky relationship. With earlier reports of domestic violence. Mr Pistorius has been charged with the murder of his girlfriend. Following this, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode decided to share his opinion on Facebook.Mr Femi Fani-Kayode , former minister of aviation , claims that obviously Oskar Pistorius was provoked. That the girlfriend - Reeva Steenkamp was 'obviously' a Jezebel and a Delilah, whatever that means.  This follows the trend of  my earlier article why aren't you vexed .Men supposedly not having any self control. Oga At The Top....... Some Perspective

I am sure we have all seen the short clip of the Lagos State  Commandant of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) on Channels TV. So, I won't bug you with that. What I think would be beneficial if you can spare about 20 minutes to watch the full interview.  Part 1       Part 2 The first issue is the claim that channels TV presenters were not fair to the guy. hmmmmmmm.How do I start? Watching the whole interview, gives better perspective . Truth is, the presenters were fed up.The man through out the interview didn't answer 1 question directly. He had to be guided through out the process. Question after question had to be broken down and he would regularly say- My Oga(s) at the top. Not that I support them but I felt their pain.
