Beverly Osu and Nigeria's reputation

 Na wa for una. Can't say I was surprised. Once I read that Beverly and Angelo were getting 'up close and personal' ,I guessed it wouldn't be long before 'something' happened.And I was right. They were in the bath tub together a few days ago and also said to be humping in bed. Not sure if it was the same night though.

And the blogs went wild....... LOL

It was hilarious and upsetting going through the comments on most of the blogs. LIB has close to 500 comments about this story. And the majority harp on how Beverly disgraced Nigeria.Other comments were insulting her - slut, ashee, her mum must be proud and the likes.....

Some people call me the weird one, so if you don't have an open mind. PLEASE for both our sakes, now is the time to close this page.
When Beverly went into the house, she went to represent herself. Yes, she's Nigerian but she has a specific name. Just like Melvin is representing himself. She can do as she pleases. She answers to and for herself.
She never claimed to be a nun and the last thing on her mind is Nigeria's dignity or lack off.

Now for all you people shouting about how society has lost its value system. Have you been blind the past 20 years or so..... Nigeria has all sorts of 'things' going on, from fornication to adultery abound.Not to mention our corrupt leaders robbing us blind. Yet u seat there and shout that Beverly is an ashewo.

Lastly, all you people shouting that BBA isn't espousing good values. I may not be up to date but last I checked DSTV had other stations like TBN and the like for those so inclined. So if you are looking for religious viewing,feel free to change the station. Afterall BBA shows are clearly marked 18,with scenes of strong language and nudity.

Oga At The Top....... Some Perspective

I am sure we have all seen the short clip of the Lagos State  Commandant of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) on Channels TV. So, I won't bug you with that. What I think would be beneficial if you can spare about 20 minutes to watch the full interview.  Part 1       Part 2 The first issue is the claim that channels TV presenters were not fair to the guy. hmmmmmmm.How do I start? Watching the whole interview, gives better perspective . Truth is, the presenters were fed up.The man through out the interview didn't answer 1 question directly. He had to be guided through out the process. Question after question had to be broken down and he would regularly say- My Oga(s) at the top. Not that I support them but I felt their pain. HYpertension and snoring..... REALLY!!

Okay, so I am a medical doctor and I  practiced in Nigeria. So i honestly felt i had the skinny on hypertension. I mean we all know the risk factors- familial, sedentary lifestyle, obesity , alcohol blah blah blah.  Imagine my utter shock and amusement when i saw a comment on linda ikeji's blog about causes of hypertension and someone said snoring. i was about to reply- what utter hogwash! but i decided for the sake of ..... . to check. I checked and behold. Shock, i tell you. Shock. Anyhow, we live and we learn. so, yes! snoring has been linked to hypertension. snoring causes sleep apnea, which is just a fancy way of saying oxygen deprivation. Snoring and its resulting low oxygen supply to the body can have a similar effect as lack of sleep .
