  Background story - Oskar Pistorius , South African sprinter was charged to court for the murder of his model girlfriend - Reeva Steenkamp. Initial claims of mistaken identity were heard in the media. The police have since debunked the rumors. Reporting that the couple had a rocky relationship. With earlier reports of domestic violence. Following this, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode decided to share his opinion on Facebook.Mr Femi Fani-Kayode , former minister of aviation , claims that obviously Oskar Pistorius was provoked. Oga At The Top....... Some Perspective

I am sure we have all seen the short clip of the Lagos State  Commandant of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) on Channels TV. So, I won't bug you with that. What I think would be beneficial if you can spare about 20 minutes to watch the full interview.  Part 1       Part 2 The first issue is the claim that channels TV presenters were not fair to the guy. hmmmmmmm.How do I start? Watching the whole interview, gives better perspective . Truth is, the presenters were fed up.The man through out the interview didn't answer 1 question directly. He had to be guided through out the process. Question after question had to be broken down and he would regularly say- My Oga(s) at the top. Not that I support them but I felt their pain. Not forgetting that one of the issues he was called  upon to clarify was this issue of various false websites. So it only made sense to ask- what the official NSCDC website is. UAE breastfeeding Law

A new law passed in the UAE now requires women to breastfeed their kids for at least 2 years. The  law  also states that men can sue their wives if they refuse. If a woman for medical reasons is unable to breastfeed, then a wet nurse would be provided.  I can't even begin to start with this one. Its hard enough to breastfeed then to make it mandatory, even punishable if a woman decides not to. Na wa oh. Then other questions arise like; who is this wet nurse, do i have a choice or must I take the one offered, who pays this nurse, does she express and give the baby or is she required to pop her boob into my child's mouth, will she be required to live in my house for this 2 year period and who decides a woman is medically unable to breastfeed.... I'd like to know what you  people think.Personally if I lived in the UAE, I think I might just run. Please feel free to drop your comments below......
